The Fashion and Textile Museum is set to celebrate the start of London Fashion Week, and the role of film in promoting 21st century fashion, with a unique programme of fashion films.
Launching on Friday 14th and running to the 22nd, the programme includes the films from both emerging and established British designers including Zandra Rhodes, Ada Zanditon, phannatiq, Beautiful Soul, Julia Burness, Xsenia & Olya, Basharatyan V and David Longshaw amongst others. The schedule embraces nearly every genre, including promotional, feature, documentary, animation shorts and showreels.
The draw for many visitors may be the chance to see the films that appear at the major fashion weeks in London, Paris and Milan, an opportunity usually only available to press and buyers.
The Fashion Films at FTM programme will be screened in the Museum foyer daily - an exciting addition considering the POP! Design Culture Fashion exhibition is currently running until the end of October. For more info and opening hours go here.
