Forget a pastel palette - texture and embellishment is key here. This season you can mix feathers, fur, lace, sequins and diamante to your hearts content. Sheer panels and pleats are also hot news again but done in a more grown up way and prints are fun rather than staid - think Lanvin's hearts and eyes and make-up box inspiration at Moschino Cheap and Chic.
You'll also be glad to know that blush pink isn't your only colour choice, you can also choose from more dusky rose hues, burgundy, metallics and an eye popping blue as an accent shade.
