Wool Week 2012 Launches

Yesterday saw the official launch of Wool Week with a exclusive party held at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

Harvey Nichols supported The Campaign for Wool with the launch of a spectacular installation that’s sees the Knightsbridge store wrapped in over 100 metres of wool.

Nicholas Coleridge, President of Condé Nast International, together with Poppy Delevingne & Tony McHale, (General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London) officially unveiled the installation last night with a private cocktail event.

In keeping with the theme, a selection of mannequins lined the room, bedecked in a series of jumpers created by University students as part of the Campaign For Wools ‘Wool School’ initiative.

Wool Week officially runs from 15 – 21 October 2012 and in celebration I've got my hands on some exclusive images from my favourite knitwear designers coming up over the next few days!

The giant woollen installation will be in place at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge for two weeks, from 15 – 28 October, if you want to check it out!
