Fab.com – an online shopping portal for designer fashions launched in the UK this week.
Products span fashion and home accessories by well-established designers, rising stars and ‘underground’ labels, at up to 70% less than normal retail prices.
It is hoped free membership, short-term special offers and a regular newsletter will drive web traffic and encourage UK customers to spend their cash with Fab rather than with similar discount rivals like TK Maxx.
The designer shopping club first launched in the USA in June 2011 and has since attracted 3.5 million members.
Fab.com’s success means it is currently the fastest growing e-commerce company in the world, with an anticipated gross income of $130 million in 2012.
Pretty Impressive! In fact I am signing up right now!
