Kilian Kerner's UK Debut

Berlin based designer Kilian Kerner presented his first ever UK presentation at the Waldorf Hilton this London Fashion Week. His off-schedule presentation for the ‘God Save the Queen' collection, took inspiration from the opulent settings within the Palm Court Room at the hotel.

The red carpet inspired collection, comprised of 29 looks displayed on stylised mannequins as well as live models displaying some of the most elaborate designs. Classic, full-length dresses juxtaposed with innovative designs featuring geometric patterns, swinging skirts combined with crop tops as well as white calla lily flowers appliqued onto silk dresses.

Volume and layering were also key to the collection with full billowing skirts composed of layers of luxurious chiffon fabric. The colour palette was soft with cream, white, deep blue, and black the main tones fused with glossy metallics, brocades and sequins in gold and copper.

Show note: Unique jewellery was provided by luxury label AKKESOIR, whilst guests were serenaded by jazz pianist Greg Foat on arrival.
