Modalu Bags: The New Season Edit

For Autumn Winter 2013 Modalu is casting a nostalgic glance back in time to the Victorian era - channelling their love for refined luxury and embellishment. However, ornamentation the Victorian way was all a bit extreme so Modalu have toned things down, instead incorporating touchy-feely textures and some striking, signature hardware to adorn their new season styles and refreshed classics.

Antique shades of Oxblood, bitter chocolate and rosemary are accentuated with highlights of camel and dusky rose. Other stand out shades include an inky purple, a sophisticated smokey grey, and vivid shades of ruby and peacock. Meanwhile, Modalu's most iconic bag shape, The Pippa, gets a makeover in a delicate floral digital print that has been designed in-house, whilst a choice of high-shine croc prints are also new for the season.

New shapes include the roomy Dickens tote with statement horse head hardware, the Sedgewick, which is a chic and compact doctor's style grab bag and the Lolita bowler bag. This Little Girl Is Lost's favourites include the Chelsea clutch in wool ombre boucle trimmed with faux leather, the Sedgewick in Oxblood leather and the St Andrews tote in heritage plaid.
