As a Miss Selfridge affiliate I'm excited to announce the launch of The Collective; a capsule collection for AW 13 which takes inspiration from the must-have, transitional items every girl needs in her wardrobe.
Inspired by simple 90's styling, the collection features deluxe sporty shapes from sharp woven tees to joggers, long line bomber and biker jackets and separates that provide easy outfit options for when you just don't know what to wear in the morning! Curved shoulders, which were so popular on outerwear this season, update T- shirt dresses while jersey becomes more draped and skirts have asymmetric details and wrapped fronts.
The colour palette of bright whites and high shine metallic's are a welcome breath of fresh air for autumn / winter whilst sports fabrics, perforated surfaces and airtex all accentuate the sport luxe vibe. This is accentuated with colour pop injections of bubblegum pink and vivid lime. Meanwhile, leather pieces with lace panellings, and faux leather trimmings, add a grungy edge for all those channelling the punk trend this Autumn.
The Collective campaign is modelled by fashion bloggers, Emily Lawrence from Emilydivine, Olivia Purvis from WhatOliviaDid and Lily Melrose from Llymlrs who were all given free reign when styling each look.
Available in online now and in all stores from Tuesday 24th September prices will range from £16 - £95.
